Head Coach

Drew Shepherd rejoins the AlleyCats as head coach in 2023. Drew played on the inaugural AlleyCats team in 2012, and served as Assistant Coach and Defensive Coordinator from 2014 - 2016. He is supported by wife Danielle and son Hank (2).

"Time for family is why I departed from the team in 2016. The itch to coach was always here."

Hitting the ground running, work is already underway in recruiting, tryouts, and game planning.

"Players are nearly unanimous that team culture is at an all time high. We're fortunate to have that as a foundation, and credit to everyone involved -- players, prior coaching, and ownership. Now, we elevate our preparation and execution to those same levels.”

Assistant Coach

Kyle Cox played for the alleycats for their inaugural season through 2019, captaining for 9 of the 10 years. Kyle has now since retired from ultimate to compete in disc golf as often as he can.

I'm excited to return to the cats after a couple years off of thinking about ultimate to get a fresh perspective. Working with Drew and Dan has been a phenomenal experience so far and I look forward to what the season will bring.

Assistant Coash

Dan Cunningham joins the staff as an assistant coach after playing for the team during the 2021 and 2022 seasons.
